This is my no bull review on the SEM Business Blueprint. Unlike most other reviews online this is an honest review which will even give you reasons why the SEM Business Blueprint may not be for you.
I have to be honest and say in general terms I’m not at all a fan of Clickbank’s “make money online” type courses. Most of them are garbage and even the better ones seem to be recycling the same information. It is not easy to make money online and it sure is not easy to generate decent traffic for any site. If you take a look at these type of courses on Clickbank they all claim that you will be making thousands online in no time which we all know for most who buy the courses is simply not true.
If you are going to make money online then there are NO magic solutions and you are going to have to be motivated and able to learn new techniques. Many trying to make money online lack motivation and simply give up after a month or two. To be honest from experience it is not easy to work for yourself either in the real world or online and this is why very few do so. Many simply prefer the security of having a steady job and this is why such a small percentage of people are self employed. Trust me I know as I ran my own successful computer hardware and software company for over 20 years and have been working online for 3 years.
What Is The SEM Business Blueprint About?
In general terms it is about starting your own Search Engine Marketing business. Yes there are other online courses that cover SEM but for once this one is the real deal. It contains video courses that teach you the techniques you need, plus you get everything you need to get your business online including websites and even radio ads.
From experience I can tell you there is a great demand for SEM services from businesses in every city and town. I have worked in this field for a couple of years and the great thing about offering SEM services to local businesses compared to promoting products online is that there is much less competition.
For example I helped a Blackpool Hotel owner get his site on page 1 of Google for key phrases such as Blackpool Hotel. Now there must be thousands of guesthouses and hotels in Blackpool but you would be amazed at how few have any SEM work done to their sites. If I had the time I could apply my techniques to every seaside resort in the UK and work for 3 or 4 hotels in each resort and have enough work for the rest of my life. You could apply this to any niche such as florists or even garages. The market for SEM is immense!
If you are thinking about buying this course do a little research on niche businesses in your local area and you will be amazed how few have a first page ranking for their man key phrase.
Can I Really Make A Six Figure Income In My first Year?
From experience I would say no! The course states that you can make $100,000 from 10 clients and this to me is an exaggeration. For the first few months you are going to have to prove yourself to potential customers so at first you may have to make your prices very competitive and maybe work on a “first page of Google” or no fee basis. I have found that the smaller businesses are easier to get work from and most of these will not be prepared to pay out $10,000 for your services as you have no proven successes. As with all online courses the potential earnings are always exegerated!
Who Should Purchase The SEM Business Blueprint?
Well you will need the following skills.
Communication Skills
From personal experience you are going to have to meet most potential clients at least a couple of times. When you have been in businesses a while and have good references you will be able to take more orders without meetings but most potential client will want to meet you. Even if you don’t meet the client you are going to have to at least speak to the client on the phone. Put yourself in their position. Would you write a check for lets say even £1000 to someone you had never met?
So you are going to need good communications skills so if this is something you struggle with then the SEM Business Blueprint is not for you.
I.T. Skills
You will need above average I.T. skills no matter what anybody else might say. You will find most potential clients don’t even know how to access their sites. In most cases you are going to have to change some of the content of their sites so you will need to be able to change the code of their website and be able to use a FTP software package. You will also need to know about using different hosting packages to access their stats etc. If you don’t have above average I.T skills or the ability to learn these skills quickly the SEM Business Blueprint is not for you.
Good Writing Skills
Could you write quality 500 word articles about your clients niche? You are going to need this ability. You could outsource but for your main articles I would always suggest you write them for yourself.
Do You Have The Motivation?
Are you self motivated? Can you get out in the real world each week to find new customers? Can you take the knocks when things don’t work out? With every business things do go wrong from time to time. What would you do if you fail to get a decent ranking for a customer even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control? Could you deal with this situation?
